In 2004 Sand Canyon Residents Diane Green and Jeri Seratti Goldman had a vision to assist Santa Clarita residents who lost their homes in floods and mudslides. The Santa Clarita Disaster Coalition was formed from their vision.

Over the past 17 years, the Coalition has been that “second responder,” filling in the gaps of local Santa Clarita victims of a major disaster after the first responders have finished their efforts. Diane has spearheaded the care and nurturing of these victims, tirelessly meeting with them, comforting them, and using the resources of the coalition to assist in getting their lives and homes put back together. In some cases, the recovery can take years, in others, weeks or months. But no matter what, Diane stays connected and leads the coalition team in being the conduit between victims and our Coalition’s resources.

In addition to her work on rebuilding homes, Diane has also been instrumental in partnering with Healing California with our coalition, creating free dental and eye clinics to less fortunate Santa Clarita residents.

Diane has a heart of gold and is the true angel behind the scenes supporting and comforting Santa Clarita victims at a time when it is most needed.

Diane has raised two daughters in Santa Clarita. Her husband, Neal has been a prominent dentist in Santa Clarita and the Antelope Valley since the 1980’s.

Have been trying to donate clothes, shoes, household items since the report on tv. No LUCK. The donate cash sure does work though. If you have a report about donating, please make it easier. Put a working link for donations besides MONEY!
